Porsche 911 (991) Turbo Cabriolet – Sold

So after only 9 short months of ownership I have sold my Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. I purchased the 911 in September 2014 and have run it until June 2015 and covered only 2,700 miles.

Whilst the Porsche is an amazing car it just not fit with my lifestyle. I play golf and need to be able to carry two sets of clubs and luggage for at least a long weekend. Whilst it is possible with the Porsche it is just not practical to keep putting one let alone two sets of clubs on the rear shelf.

To sell the car I rang around a number of Porsche dealers. My local dealer, Sytner Porsche, supplied the car to me and they also offered me the best price. Their buyer came and saw the car, which was as good a new, and they paid me there and then. One of their drivers collected the car later in the day as it was to go to their dealership in Scotland.

I’m sad to see the car go in some respects, however I know that there is a more suitable car around that will offer a hard-top convertible with the luggage space I require.
